- The Hero Miles program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members;
- The Hotels for Heroes program using donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge.
- The Foundation also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses, and children of fallen and disabled veterans.

Operation Deep Down is the Military branch of Cody Unser’s Great Scuba Adventures. Our program is designed to use Scuba Diving as a tool for therapeutic and psychological value to help heal the wounds of our vets. Showing them what they can do instead what they cannot. Operation Deep Down will provide training and certification for disabled veterans and their chosen dive buddy from start to finish. Ending in the open water on one of Cody’s Great Scuba Adventures.

Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946. The founding band of service members came home from World War II with a spinal cord injury. PVA has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members – veterans who have a spinal cord injury or dysfunction. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing began in 2005 serving wounded military service members at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Since then, PHWFF has expanded nationwide. We now have our highly successful program in Department of Defense hospitals, Warrior Transition Units, and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and clinics.
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing strives to effectively serve deserving past and present members of our armed forces who have made great sacrifices in the service of our nation. PHWFF provides basic fly fishing, fly casting, fly tying and rod building classes to all clinics participants regardless of their abilities. All equipment for fly fishing and fly tying and all one day or multi-day fishing trips are provided free of charge to participants.
PHWFF is unique in that our volunteers are teaching classes on an on-going, long term basis. It is much more than a one day fishing trip. For many participants, particularly disabled veterans, the socialization and camaraderie of the classes are just as important as the fishing outings and provide them a new activity

Serving qualifying post-9/11 Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, Coast Guardsmen, and reservists. Disabilities include amputations, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury (TBI), severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), burns, blindness, other physical injuries, or life-threatening illnesses. We also help spouses and children of active duty service members who face a life-threatening illness or injury.
